Amazon Prime Video recently streamed Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty lingerie show, which took place at the New York Fashion Week in more than 200 countries and territories on September 20. The show, held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York featured women of all sizes and shapes in range of ethnicities and skin tones.
Rihanna herself opened the show in a sexy lace bodysuit, a black bra top and a black velvet miniskirt paired with black heels. Accompanying her in the background, there were female dancers all dressed in black bodysuits and black sneakers, swaying their bodies on the beat.
The show was all star-studded with many famous pop singers performing at the show. Halsey introduced her new single ‘Graveyard’ live on stage. Other pop stars such as Migos, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, Fat Joe, DJ Khaled also performed at the lingerie show.
Other performers and models at the show were 21 Savage, Normani and Cara Delevingne. “This is a feast. I wish more fashion shows were like this,” said Delevingne of the show.
The inclusion that Rihanna offers in her lingerie and even in her make-up line is really unique and rare and she offers all this at reasonable prices too. But she says that it’s more that just a business strategy.
According to Rihanna, she doesn’t do anything just because nobody else has done it before. She feels that if she can make a woman feel confident by the smallest product from her line that is under $100 then she would do it because people are paying thousands of dollars for something that doesn’t even make them feel any better.
