Asahi Kasei displays Bemberg range of fabrics at Pitti Uomo

Asahi Kasei presented a range of latest innovative and sustainable collection of fabrics made with Bemberg fibres at the leading fashion event Pitti Uomo, held in Florence, Italy. Bemberg is a regenerated fibre made from cotton linter which is a pre-consumer waste.

The company mentioned in its press release that the company by leading materials manufacturer Asahi Kasei is the sole maker of one of a kind, high-tech, natural fibres with a unique touch and feel as well as unique performances such as moisture control and antistatic.

Apart from that, Bemberg will also present a special project featuring few pieces of tailoring collection commissioned to and developed with students of a renowned Italian tailoring school along with premium lining manufacturers using Bemberg in their production.
