The leading fashion brand Calida recently released a collection which is 100 per cent Nature certified by Cradle to Cradle, which means that the raw materials can be used again and again in an ongoing biological cycle. The collection has been manufactured in a closed, particularly energy-efficient cycle and sourced from sustain-ably managed forests.
The 100 per cent Nature collection include men’s and women’s underwear and loungewear pieces made from the premium stretch fibre Roica that delivers high performance both in stretch and sustainability. Roica V550 fibres by the leading innovator Asahi Kasei are blended with cellulose based premium materials to obtain non-toxic, sustainable elastic fibres for premium quality and comfort.
Calida has also been awarded the Made in Green by Oeko-Tex label which is based on compliance with strict responsibility and ecological criteria and certifies that the textiles carrying the label have been tested for harmful substances.
