Gemma Atkinson has been on a fitness transformation since appearing on Strictly Come Dancing. GA, 33, who is dating Strictly Come Dancing pro Gorka Marquez, 28 — proudly flaunts the results of her hours spent in the gym.
The starlet posted a snap of herself rocking a beach wear ensemble on her Instagram. Displaying her toned upper body, the Manchester native donned a green string bikini top.
Allowing her curves of steel to take pride of place, Gemma completed the look with teeny denim hot pants. With her golden locks styled in a high bun, the actress cut a casual figure as she soaked in the views. Captioning the postcard-worthy scene for her 762k followers, Gemma wrote: “Life’s better by the sea,” alongside a wave symbol, a smiley face emoji and a red heart.
Gemma has been busy promoting her upcoming book release online, however she’s made a point of emphasising that her transformation goes far beyond the physical. Championing mental health awareness, Gemma told her Instagram followers: “It was extremely important to me to talk about this in my book… “And highlight that in ‘great shape’ is only half of a fitness journey.”
She continued: “For me, I have to feel good as well or else what’s the point?
“Life’s too short to not be happy and I hope my story of finding my happiness after things I’ve been through in my life, can maybe help you in some way too.”
