Google has joined the competition with e-commerce companies by launching its own online shopping platform. The service is yet limited to only US users but the company plans to take it forward in other countries as well.
The users can easily access this shopping platform by logging into their Gmail account, which will show them different customised suggestions. The e-commerce website has various features, which point the shoppers to certain selected retailers. If a user searches for an item, which is present in Google’s own store then it will point you towards that product or else it will point towards some third party seller’s product.
Another feature will sell products under ‘Buy with Google Guarantee’, which promises refund to the shoppers if the suggested retailer doesn’t deliver on time.
Other details regarding the website will be disclosed later but it’s sure to attract many consumers around the world.
