Weekend had set in a little in advance at Washington Street in New York, as Hanro of Switzerland, along with Nigel Barker, Fiona Byrne, and Selita Ebanks, hosted an intimate VIP celebration on Thursday night for the unveiling of a custom mural by artist, Izak Zenou, at its New York City Flagship store in the Meatpacking District.
The custom mural by Izak Zenou has been painted directly on the walls of the Hanro of Switzerland’s flagship, over the course of four days. Izak’s hand painted mural pays homage to Hanro’s heritage and reveals an engaging view of the spirited women, who inspire him. This is the latest artist collaboration in Hanro’s on-going public art campaign.
The mural will be open to the public Friday, May 6th onwards and a kickoff celebration has also been lined up in-store for customers on Saturday, May 7th. From 1-4 PM, customers who spend US $500 or more will receive a custom sketch by the artist himself. Customers indulging into shopping will also receive a 20% off on their in-store purchases on Saturday.
Jan Snodgrass (President of Hanro, USA) was present for the Thursday extravaganza along with many notable names like Amy Astley, Summer Rayne Oakes, Elizabeth Kurpis, Jaymie Wisneski, Lauren Glassberg, Jessica Tan Gudnason, Catherine Zadeh, Bil Donovan and many others.
