Changing dates and the venue of an exhibition is never easy spice it up with a never seen before format and some new technology to enhance networking, the bet becomes even more challenging. The wager is paying off as both exhibitors and visitors have successfully welcomed the changes.

Exclusive, connection and quality are the three main key words used by our attendees to describe this new format. Exclusive because of the selection made on visitors, inviting only decision makers to join the event. Connection because of the new tool presented onsite, allowing exhibitors and visitors to connect and exchange information, enhancing networking opportunities. Quality because of the selection of attendees! Exhibitors have been selected by the Steering Committee prior to the show and visitors have been one by one invited by Eurovet to join this exclusive event insuring the most qualitative audience we could gather at Interfilière Hong Kong.

Exhibitors wise, the objective of 65 exhibitors has been reached, granting this first new edition of Interfilière Hong Kong, a rich, cutting-edge and innovative offer.

It was the perfect occasion to see the return of leaders of the industry, seduced by the new format, such as Pioneer Elastics, Bischoff Textile, Seram, Papillon Ribbon & Bow, Liberty Tex, Utaxor Oriental Embroidery. New exhibitors are also pleased with their first participation. Jeroen Jacobs, Global Director Textile Fibers from Eastman comment: “It has been a very successful event, I like the fact that the event is a little bit smaller in size, but has a very exclusive visitors group which make the interaction much more useful and much higher quality. The Token was a great tool, useful to connect with people, the one I have seen during the day and more importantly the one I have not yet connected with, allowing me to send few emails out in order to meet them on the next day”.

The booths were therefore full during the two days; and some exhibitors were not able to have lunch until very late in the afternoon. Visitors wise, the objective has been reached and overpassed, with a little more than 1,200 people, from 35countries,attending the event. This highly selective form has proven its effectiveness. The quality of the visitors was noticed and particularly those coming from Australia and South America. The exhibitors have been delighted by the level of visitors, both in terms of quantity and quality and have particularly appreciated the exclusive side of the event.

This new session has been the perfect opportunity to introduce a new high-tech device giving more opportunities to exhibitors to connect with buyers. This token has raised a lot of interest and curiosity on each side of the attendees. Facilitating exchanges and generating satisfaction and good mood during the 2 days of the event. Everyone got caught up in the game of exchanging information!

The Gallery, welcoming visitors right at the entrance of the show, was particularly appreciated by them. It was the first area of the show where they could discover the exhibitors ‘offer, allowing them to evaluate manufacturers and analyse the collections in a privileged environment.

The Studio, an undisclosed room tailored for exhibitors to deliver exclusive presentations to a selection of targeted audiences, introducing their launch of a new product, solution or innovation. Special thanks to DINGZING, FANSL, NEW DONGHUANG, NEWPARTNER and TENGFEI, who have enlightened and given insight into their advanced innovations to the audiences.

The Creativ’Lab, is not just a forum of trends but an exchange of ideas. It is an abundant and rich space of fabrics, designs and an inspirational shopping to illustrate the market evolutions. It featured 8 focal points indicating the materials and signs of change –Lush Florals, the New Sexy, Soft & Pretty, Whispering, Nomads, Metallic, Natural Casuals and Athleisure.

It was intimately linked to the prototypes fashion show which featured exhibitors and leading design schools namely The Polytechnic University of Hong Kong, Parsons School of Design in New York, and De Montfort University in Leicester.

The Ultra-Light exhibition, a celebration of Lightness, offering visitors a poetic interlude, food for thought and multisensory surprises. The exhibition displayed a compendium of pictures representing innovative pieces of garments, objects and future-oriented materials, expressing the lightness of nature, motion, color, materials and hand-made details.

Finally, the networking events were a perfect occasion to socialize with other members of the industry.
