New York based apparel brand Paper Project recently launched an innerwear line which is completely made out of paper yarn. Paper yarn is extracted from manila hemp and spruce. Paper yarn offers great features such as breathability, comfort, anti-bacterial and anti-odour properties.
The innerwear line includes socks, underwear, t-shirts for men and women. It also includes boxer briefs and short styles for men. Based on ISO test standards, their knit socks manufactured using paper yarn lowers 99 per cent of Isovaleric acid and 98 per cent of acetic acid which are the main components that causes foot odour.
