Coco de Mer invites you to surrender to your animalistic nature with its new Instinct collection for SS17.
Inspired by their most primal and impulsive desires, the new range allows you to give in to your instincts and surrender to pleasure.
The styling heightens the senses by using multi-layering to create surface textures that imitate animal skins, scales, feathers and horns. As nature exudes power through visual exhibition, the collection will allow the wearer to become her own serpent-like seductress.
Coco de Mer managing director Lucy Litwack said: “Sexual, primitive urges and reactions are installed within us and we have never lost touch with them throughout evolution. Coco de Mer’s new collection Instinct shamelessly releases these inner urges – allowing you to find your underlying animalistic instinct and sexual identity. We want to arouse the senses like a bird displaying its feathers to capture the attention of its mate. SS17 will draw attention to the most erotic and fascinating parts of the body, showcasing your inner desire.”

SS17 includes:

Rhea – the dramatic red angled panels are combined with Solstiss French all-over lace and folded silk;
Gaia – gilded Jean Bracq lace and golden silk satin, it has carefully placed openings to excite and entice your lover;
Panthera – invisible tulle and fine French lace reveals and conceals your body in the most elegant and alluring way;
Pandion – inspired by dramatic yet delicate nature of a bird’s plumage, fine strapping and feather embroidery decorate your body;
Ardea – all-over silver lace by Jean Bracq – reminiscent of wet look scales and shimmery feathers;
Vipera – playful and open, its silver silk lace wraps around the body like a snake;
Egretta – slate blue silk chiffon French lace which is easy to untie;
Coco de Mer was voted Independent Retailer of the Year for the third year running at the 2016 Lingerie Awards as well as Best Online Retailer.

“The SS17 collection, Instinct, is inspired by our natural sexual instincts and desires which are inherent in all of us. The collection is about giving in to your wilder side and releasing these animalistic urges. The colour palette and fabrics are largely inspired by nature and the power it holds; the way a bird uses its plumage to attract a mate, or the way a snake snares its prey by using its charms. The colours and fabrics have eye catching details such as lurex threads and bold shades to draw attention to your most erotic areas. This collection is all about heightening the senses for exhilarating effect.” comments, Coco de Mer managing director, Lucy Litwack.
lacenlingerie_210744When asked about her experience working with Pamela Anderson as their new ambassador she goes on to say, “Ever since Pamela and I first met we have discovered so many shared passions that it seemed such a natural step for Pamela to become Coco de Mer’s International Brand Ambassador. Pamela has such empathy with our fashion and our thinking and will be a natural ambassador, engaging with our customers around the world in a wonderfully inspiring and empowering way. We wanted to make a film that put some femininity and passion back into Valentine’s Day and we think Pamela and Coco de Mer have accomplished that along with a sprinkling of liberation.”
