HANRO’s spring/summer 2017 collection is all about „contrasts“. Airy, superlight fabrics are combined with straight, strong cuts. Delicate, transparent woven burn-outs, chiffon inserts
and voiles alternate with compact, opaque fabrics. Modern, geometric laces and embroideries and fashionable design details offer an interesting contrast to the classic, reliable luxury fabrics.
Trendy new cuts are paired with classical, feminine styles or even retro-inspired looks. The color palette shows natural elements from the earth, sky, water and fire: Light beige shades, earthy nuances, terracotta and white are paired with strong blue and pink shades as well as sunny yellows. Marrakesh offered the perfect backdrop to stage the collection in this composition of contrasts. The subtle changes of light and shadow, the raw landscape of the Atlas mountains mixed with green plants, steep and rugged brick walls with the seemingly endless width of sky and earth, a relaxed pool atmosphere compared to the clean architecture; all creating a laid-back interplay and the perfect mood for the new lingerie, nightwear and loungewear collection.
Highlights Lingerie & Daywear
For Spring/Summer 2017, HANRO offers exceptionally lightweight, decorative lingerie with distinguishing wearing comfort. Fabric blends such as viscose-silk, cotton-silk or satin are soft and flowing. Airy, fine elastic woven material offers a perfect contradiction to the seductive, semi-transparent yokes and inserts of chiffon or woven burn-out. Lavishly inserted floral laces or embroidery in leaf motifs can often be found in the back. Shirts from lightweight cotton
jersey or fine rib are versatile enough to be worn as underwear or outerwear. New to the basic collection is daywear range “Sea Island Cotton” –which is the softest and silkiest cotton
in the world thanks to the best and most exclusive cotton fibers grown in the British West
Indies.
