bamboo fabric range unveiled by oshen active

California based Oshen Active recently launched more eco-friendly options to activewear with its ‘not from plastic’ range, made out of bamboo-based fabric.

Oshen Active, which was founded by Jeffrey Gold and Tammy Keller is committed to manufacturing ecologically sound activewear that also offers high-performance. The brand is also involved in ocean-conservation activities.

In the new range, the brand has used a viscose fabric made out of sustainably sourced bamboo, making the range a more eco-friendly one compared to other materials that are used to manufacture this kind of gear.

Talking about the line Gold stated that almost every compression activewear range that was available was created from plastic, which is harmful to the skin and the environment and also the chemicals used can seep in the body. He stated that their mission was to do better for our bodies, for the environment and also for the future of apparel.

Oshen Active’s new line is available for both men and women and the women’s collection includes, tank tops, long-sleeve shirts, bike shorts, sports bras, jacket, pants, and runner’s shorts in XS to 1X sizes. While the men’s range includes, short-sleeve t-shirts, long-sleeve hoodie, sports shorts and pants available in S to XXL sizes.
