Launched in 2013, Toronto based lingerie brand Knix recently opened its first store in Vancouver. The store is located at 2047 West 4th Avenue and it features original murals done by Toronto based multi-disciplinary artist, Leia Bryans.

Apart from that, the store stocks variety of Knix’s latest collections including its signature leakproof underwear, wireless bras and tops, essential underwear and postpartum pieces such as hands-free pumping bra and leakproof nursing bra. All these undergarments are made with materials like carbon cotton and waterproof membranes which targets breathability and absorption.

Joanna Griffiths, Founder of Knix, claims that she spent about two years working on the concept of the brand. “Through that process, I interviewed a couple hundred women and basically discovered that women were looking for better intimate apparel products as a whole,” she adds.

Talking about the latest store opening, Griffiths said, “We’re excited to be here. I think it’s a really great opportunity for women to come in touch and feel the products. I do like how much of a safe environment it is, where we encourage them to feel comfortable and confident exactly as they are, which is all about our brand ethos.”
