Nidhi Munim, a Bachelor of Fashion Technology from NIFT in Kolkata, is a contemporary Indian fashion designer. It all started with a spark that ignited in her the wish to make women all around the country “feel beautiful” as opposed to just look beautiful. She wanted to create a world where women embrace their bodies and flaunt their best self and a world where beauty has innumerable definitions… why only size 0 or 2 or 4? Owing to her wanderlust and love for travel, she launched her own customised beach and resort wear collection with glamorously flirty styles for all sizes.
Nidhi has styled Bollywood’s leading ladies Deepika Padukone, Sunny Leone, Ileana D’Cruz, Evelyn Sharma, Aishwarya Rai, Sania Mirza, and P V Sindhu, with her swimwear, beachwear and athleisurewear, for leading magazine covers and in Bollywood’s iconic movies. She has also been the official designer for travel shows worldwide. Nidhi is the Digital Ambassador for Crocs India as well, and is also a panellist at Miss India Universe 2017.
The brand adds an exquisite touch to the idea of luxury, yet affordable travel wear and has launched exclusive collections for the Beach to Bar look for the travel lover as well as curated honeymoon wardrobes for all the newlyweds. The designer is now launching her shop-in-shop stores at luxury hotels and resorts across the country.
It is distributed in over 10 countries across the globe and has its exclusive styles that are available at Shopper’s Stop and stores across Mumbai, Thane, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Goa. The colour palette and the prints chosen this season are quite interesting. The USP of their brand has always been Indian prints and they continue to focus on incorporating the traditional Indian arts into all their product ranges.
Talking about her future plans she states that they are now expanding into kids swimwear and resort wear.
