Under the banner of  Textile Fairs India by SS Textile Media Pvt. Ltd., two iconic textile fairs withheld the industry’s attention with their enthusiastic presentations at the show. Yarntex and TexIndia are the trade fairs of south India that deal in different fields and together span across to the Textile industry as whole. The 7th Edition of Yarntex and 4th Edition of TexIndia saw the light of 2015 at the India Knit Fair Complex in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu  from 10th to 12th of September  this year.

Yarnex has been an esteemed exhibition for the display of value added fibres and yarns. Those include spandex fibres, BCI yarns, organic yarns, color mélange and dyed yarns, modal yarns, recycled polyester yarns, metallic yarns, iridescent yarns, antique yarns, fancy yarns, grindle yarns, indigo yarn, vortex yarn, compact yarns and many others. The event this year gathered an array of 51 small and large scale exhibitors. On the other hand, TexIndia forms the  perfect platform for sourcing needs of apparel manufacturers. It presented 41 exhibitors displaying products from  job worker categories such as apparel fabrics, trimmings, embellishments. Apart form that, it included organic fabrics in various blends, wool fabrics, Tencel fabrics, silk fabrics, solid dyed and yarn dyed knitted fabrics, different types of lace and crochet fabrics, various types of zippers, hangers, elastic tapes and webbings, badges, barcodes, labels, embroidery and garmenting.

TexIndia proved to be an event of prime essence as it caters to the need of job workers in Tirupur to promote their services amongst the knitwear manufacturers and exporters. The event was a highlight in bringing together, job workers and knitwear manufacturers and exporters to interact under one roof. The Founder of Textile Fairs India, Mr. Krishnamurthy said, “Our objective is to bring world class and multiple varieties of value added yarns, fabrics and also clothing accessories to buyers of these products closer to the end-users of Tirupur and surrounding regions through these two fairs.”

Exhibitors at both the fairs came from various parts of India and overseas like UK, Japan, Austria, Hong Kong, Ludhiana, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Indore, Secunderabad and off course from Erode, Coimbatore and also Tirupur. Yarnex 2015 was embellished by presence of renowned companies like Reliance Industries, Indian Rayon from the Aditya Birla Group, Indorama Industries, Grasim Industries Limited, RSWM Limited, Amarjothi Spinning Mills Ltd., Brightex Corporation from Japan, Damodar Industries, Pallavaa Group, Vardhman Textiles Ltd., Trident Limited, Winsome Group, The Lakshmi Mills Company Ltd. and more.
