Fashion of today gives much focus on shape and structure enhancement. Hosiery, basically a leg wear, has become an integral part of fashion apparels. Leggings are a type of skin-tight garment that covers the legs and that may be worn by both men and women. Formerly, leggings were two separate garments, one for each leg. Modern leggings are typically made from a blend of lycra (aka spandex), nylon, cotton, or polyester blend, but they can also be made from wool, silk and other materials.

Leggings are available in a multitude of colors and designs. Leggings are sometimes worn fully exposed, but are more traditionally worn partially covered by a garment such as a skirt, a large t-shirt, shorts, or fully covered by an outer garment, such as a full length skirt. Leggings are typically ankle-length, and some are stiruped or encase the feet. Some are shorter.
Leggings are worn to keep a person’s legs warm, as protection from chafing during an activity such as exercise, or as a decorative or fashion garment Though they seem trendy, this style is really straight out of the past. Many women are trading in neutral workout clothes for leggings in crazy colors and patterns. Even though Not everyone wants to highlight their thighs with an explosion of color. The busier the print, the more flattering it is, because the eye follows its movement. When women embrace the trend, they often buy multiple pairs. Changing nature of lifestyle is bringing in a sea change in the legging industry. Manufacturers are taking hard efforts to increase their market share, especially among the younger age group. Competitive pricing plays a crucial role in establishing a strong market for the brands. For getting a successful brand acceptance, companies get into fierce competition providing best bargains and offering promotional discounts to customers. Many brands even offer value added multipack merchandise at throwaway prices. Strong sales are fueling small and big brands such as the following listed below.

According to Chandrasekhar Thatavarthi Executive Director – “We are presently in the south market and slowly entering into other markets i.e, north east and west. We have distributors in every state and we have our own set up of marketing team, our marketing head is in Bangalore and we are appointing distributors district wise in all states and are team will go and market the items. We have our own website and are selling through other two websites as well.

Leggings are moving from plain to prints and in the future people may go for embroidery leggings. Plain colors are also moving. Maybe in the future people will go for two coloured leggings outside one color and inside another color and can be worn reversibly.

We have updated our collections with more colors for the summer 2015. In today’s market people now days are becoming more price conscious and are not looking for quality.

Girls today rather spend on cheaper leggings and wear it 4-5 times than spend a lot of money. The leggings market is going to continually going to grow for another 10 to 15 years. We make our own yarn for our own garments so we product good affordable quality leggings. We don’t compromise on quality and give the right fit and right product.
