After the grand success of the Fifty Shades Grey lingerie collection, launched almost parallel with the film release, erotic lingerie brand, Coco de Mer after working closely author E L James is now ready with the Fifty Shades Darker collection ahead of the release of the film version of Fifty Shades Darker next year.
The new range, which goes on sale in September this year, aims to capture the ‘inner goddess’ of the book’s heroine Anastasia Steele, played by Dakota Johnson in the film. It is inspired by student Anastasia’s growth in sexual confidence as she gradually takes the dominant role in her relationship with billionaire Christian Grey.
E L James had mentioned that he visited the Coco de Mer outlet many times for inspiration while he was compiling the Fifty Shades series. And the brand on the other hand is super proud to have captured the sensuality and sex appeal of the lead lady Anastasia in progression. How the same had developed episodically over the years and the new collection is a tribute to her newly attained confidence.
