Kendall Lenner's La Perla Lingerie Campaign

Kendall Jenner has taken over yet another brand, this time she is featuring in La Perla’s campaign.  Wearing looks from luxury lingerie brand La Perla’s 2017 Spring collection, Jenner  as well as Isabeli Fontana and Liu Wen  were chosen for adhering to art director Julia Haart’s concept for the ad..

According to a press release, the brand wished to convey the “liberation of every woman from the need to suffer for beauty”-the first under its new creative director Julia Haart with shots of the models sporting lingerie and some pantsuits, sans shirt and bra, too.

Jenner poses in the said cleavage-flaunting, floral print-trimmed suit in front of a wall featuring shattered glass-a symbolic nod to women shattering the glass ceiling.

Another shot sees the brunette beauty posing in front of a wall decorated with an image of what the brand deems an antiquated constrictive corset in a macramé silk dress with a wait for it corset-like bodice.

Kendall’s contemporary charisma adds an unmistakable touch to every garment, simultaneously highlighting the modernity and the relaxed, self-assured elegance of each piece she wears.

The ad campaign was broken down into a series of images full of intense colours that focus on the luxury of the silks and the exclusive fabrics.

La Perla’s goal is to represent the soul not only of the lingerie garments, but also of the new ready-to-wear collection, which has marked Julia Haart’s arrival as creative director.
