The multi-brand provider presents its collection on a sophisticated exhibition concept, which is divided into two areas for LASCANA and s.Oliver.
LASCANA gives rise to the urge to travel, to discover new places and to experience a dream holiday with its SS20 collection.
The different modules are inspired by different cultures and travel destinations, from a cultural journey in search of the Incas to the underwater world of Australia’s coral reefs to the colourful jungles near the equator.
The ‘Adventurous’ module comprises styles in a black and white tribal print with violet and orange accents as well as plain-coloured sets in these accent colours.
‘New Perspective’, a mix-kini module, alludes to the tropical underwater world with its diverse fauna and flora. The series includes triangle, underwire bandeau and underwire bikini tops as well as a swimsuit and an oversized tankini model.
‘With All Senses’ draws on the bold, diverse colours of the spice markets of India, simplified to patterned stripes on tried-and-tested fits such as bandeau, push-up and triangle bikinis as well as a swimsuit. A mix-kini series, boasts of a pretty floral pattern in pastel tones, is inspired by a relaxing detox holiday providing a contrast to the adventurous discovery holiday modules.
The ‘Glamorous’ module is one of the collection highlights. With an abstract leaf print in green and red tones on an orange background with the cut of a triangle bikini top with a ring detail between the cups and lacing under the bust, it is glamorous enough. It features radiant colour tones such as mint, yellow and red as well as classic navy with contrasting white piping. This includes an underwire top and cup top, a swimsuit and three styles of bottoms (high-waisted, gathered and shaping) as well as a sarong and a multi-way dress.
For S.Oliver, the Spring/Summer season, defined by diverse styles has different modules in this season that are inspired by the most diverse holiday destinations that the world has to offer.
The first module features tropic-style prints with abstract breaks. The black background softens print nuances such as green, orange and red, creating a certain retro charm. This is emphasised by a high-waisted cut with lacing on the sides. The popular bralette cut with a cross-over back on push-up, underwire and bandeau bikini tops, can all be mixed and matched with different styles of bottoms in line with the mix-kini philosophy.
Module two is defined by a modern check pattern with a retro touch. It combines the colours blue, white and red for a fresh, summery look. The highlight is a bustier top with sleeves made of textured crêpe fabric.
