Page Industries, the exclusive Licensee of Jockey International Inc in India plans to double its manufacturing capacity in the next five years due to increase in demand. Its current installed capacity accounts to 260 million pieces.
Page Industries is involved in manufacturing, distribution and marketing of innerwear, athleisure, sleepwear, and swimwear for men, women and kids. Along with India, Page Industries holds the exclusive licensee of Jockey International Inc in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, the UAE, Oman, as well as Qatar. It also holds licensee of UK’s Speedo International Ltd. in India and Sri Lanka.
Currently, the company’s manufacturing units cover 2.4 million sq ft in total, which includes 14 locations in Karnataka and one location in Tamil Nadu. The company is currently setting up a greenfield manufacturing factory in Anantpur where menswear production will run. The company will also set up a new unit at K.R Pet near Mysore for manufacturing and raw material warehousing.
