TEXWORLD PARIS : A Prelude to Winter Trends 2016/17

The textile world must be up for a delicate treat this season as September hopes to reimburse bold and trendy fabrics to the archive of TEXWORLD Paris. The event is bound to take place from 14th to 17th of September at Paris Le Bourget, and will showcase an avid variety of fabrics for Winter Trends 2016/17.

Preludes’ defines the trade fair’s innovation and trend that shall be redeemed by textile and fashion professionals at their harmonious gathering. The theme is highly artist-centric and imbibes the essential and unique vision of future that the artists shall grant to their fashion collection. The combined efforts of the exhibitors shall reflect the tones and textures of Autumn/Winter 2016-17. Louis Gérin and Grégory Lamaud – the Artistic Directors of the fair, along with other designers are keen to explore the influence of fashion on future of society through the fair.

 

Startling Trends : Texworld brings a vigorous blend of colours and designs to evoke not just visual but rhythmic tones of life. The show aims to strike the cords of mind that provoke intone of synchronization along with soothing visual creativity. The six themes include:

Simple Tessitura – indicating a range of ideal notes and cords in symphony

Imitation Fugue – referring to a theme oriented compositional technique that blends two rhythms or aura.

Sacrilegious Harmonies – demands a profane blend of varied harmonies that graciously complement each other.

Rhapsodic Transgression – a highly refined form of fabricated art that springs from and appeals to the unconscious emotional realms of the mind.

The denim collection shall attain divinity under the theme Graphic Percussion, while the accessories collection is entitled as Chiselled Score. Denim is the undisputed king of the fair. The exhibition expects 46 businesses that are specialist of denim to present all season denim fabric that are unisex and fantastic work material for brands and designers. The materials are anticipated to be of brilliant quality: ‘selvedge denim for purists, powerstretch for hipsters, stonewashed for the 70s look, which is currently fanning the flames of fashion and eco-friendly for green and ethical brands’ says a report. The Trends Forum will display most astounding materials, daring embroidery, new textures and the most creative developments of the season, according to organisers. Two seminars have been structured for the visitors to grasp the expanse of the tones.

Aspirational Tie up : Texworld Paris has associated with Esmod Fashion School to promote young talent streaming from the alumni of the institute. The apprentice will form a kaleidoscope of cuts, proportions and materials, delighting in their boldness and sincerity. This year shall see Anne-Sophie Blanc and Tamami Tomemori display their collection in Lace and Embroidery section. The lace were finely fabricated by Decotex, customized especially according to the designs of the students. The designers modified the laces to produce their pieces, dying them into desirable colours.

The industry benefits from new ideas to develop its collections,” The artistic developers of the Texworlds 2015 will develop the link between materials and colours and will share their inspiration and the new aesthetic directions taken by textiles and fashion in winter 2016/17.
