Over the years, the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet has offered an opportunity for celebrities to go wild and showcase some of their weirdest and wackiest fashions –
and it seems that this year was no different.
Paris Jackson Wears Dior Dress, Bra and Panties
The daughter of one of the greatest entertainers of all time, Michael Jackson, we are not surprised that Paris stepped on the runway with plenty of confidence and a show-stopping look to match. For her top layer, she chose a sheer, mesh Christian Dior dress accompanied with colorful detailing like a fiery red dragon embroidered along the hem. Underneath, Paris wore a nude bra and spandex shorts with ’90s-inspired bra straps and underwear bands that bear the fashion house’s name. Her gold strappy heels add the perfect finishing touch to her look, along with her head-turning ombré hair.
Nicki Minaj’s Pink Latex VMAs Unitard Leaves All the Jaws on the Carpet
Nicki Minaj, wore a garish pink latex ensemble on the red carpet, that clung to every single curve and left little to the imagination thanks to some large cut-outs just above her nipples. The Pink Print rapper, 34, made a dramatic appearance in bubblegum pink latex bodysuit, which hugged her dynamic derriere and teeny-tiny waist. The songstress’s harness-inspired bustier designed by Vex Latex tried its hardest to contain all of Nicki’s – given name Onika Maraj – assets.
The multi-time VMAs winner gave everyone whiplash when she hit the carpet in what has to be the most uncomfortable outfit of the night a second-skin bodysuit featuring a corset-style bodice with cutouts. Minaj accessorized with a sparkly choker, cross necklace, layers of bangles, plus orange and pink pumps to complete her bold look.
Cardi B wore a unique cut-out jumpsuit that featured a built-in conical bra
Cardi B, brought the drama to the carpet when she arrived in a custom Christian Siriano ensemble, complete with Madonna-reminescent pointy bust and cascading train. Then, for the VMA pre-show, the Bronx-rapper made a quick switch as she performed her Billboard Hot 100 hit “Bodak Yellow” in a bedazzled bodysuit with matching robe combo and glitzy $10,000 crystal Saint Laurent boots. Her hype and glimmering VMAs pre-show performance marks her first-ever appearance at the award show, but based on her momentum, it won’t be her last.
On the prowl: Arielle Vandenberg rocked a leopard-print suit over a lacy bodysuit
One star who seems to always get it right when it comes to fashion is Arielle Vandenberg and this time was no exception. She wore a leopard print trouser suit that showed off her wonderful figure and somehow managed to make it all the way down the blue carpet without the slightest wobble, despite wearing extra-tall platform heels. But it was the garment underneath the suit that caught all the attention. Arielle wore a daring black lace corset beneath her suit and the tantalising glimpses that could be seen got everyone talking.
Met Gala 2017
The 69th annual Met Ball was like prom for the fashion industry, which means that celebrities’ outfits are not, on the whole, about elegance or glamour, but about demonstrating one’s skills in high fashion. This year’s theme was avant-garde, inspired by fashion’s most conceptual designer, Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons, and many celebrities rose to the occasion with a range of conceptual looks.
Bella Hadid opted for a skintight body suit
Gigi’s younger sister Bella caused a stir in a skintight bodysuit which was cut open at the back. The Alexander Wang creation showed off her curves and Bella worked the blue carpet with confidence.
Selena Gomez wore an elegant slip dress
Selena Gomez arrived with her boyfriend The Weeknd – with the couple putting on a PDA-packed performance for the photographers. The slip dress, designed by Coach, showed off a hint of leg and had a long train which fell elegantly behind her as she walked along the blue carpet. The pretty lace maxi featured subtle sequin embellishments. We love the vintage vibes of the dress that almost has a lingerie-esque boudoir feel to it thanks to the lace trim.
Kendall Jenner wore a La Perla lingerie dress
The 21-year-old was practically naked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, with a huge cut-out across her chest and stomach, and thigh-high split.
From the back, the dress was completely sheer except for her black couture G-string, designed by luxe lingerie label La Perla and “made from one piece of string. It’s a very strong, very flexible, incredibly thin piece of nylon, and we’ve strung 85,000 crystals onto it.

Making their first debut as a foursome without former band member Camilla Cabello who left the group in December 2016 , the girls proved this wasn’t going to hold them back as they gave a rather energetic performance.
Wearing a risqué PVC looks of bralettes, leotards, chaps and knee high boots, paired with smoky eye make-up, the band wanted to show they meant business.

A long sheer skirt also provided a veiled glimpse of Chery’s lean legs and pert derriere. The California native also showcased her lean upper torso in a see-through lacy top with spaghetti straps and plunging neckline. Cheryl added a bit of flair with a choker collar. She had her hair up and gathered in the back with a few loose strands framing her face. Cheryl completed her outfit with black open-toed collar heels.

The 20-year-old singer made a dramatic entrance at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards in a super chic and totally see-through shimmering silver metal-accented dress by Georgian designer David Koma. Steinfeld polished off her bold outfit with her long brunette tresses in a slicked back style and some heavy eye makeup. It seems like the “Edge of Seventeen” star intentionally flashed her dark undergarments with the sheer panel on the front of her dress.

Noah Cyrus, 17, hit last night’s show in an outfit that highlighted her matching sheer bra and high-waisted briefs by John Galliano. The Make Me singer balanced the sexy look with a pair of slouchy wide-leg trousers by the same designer. Edgy, comfy-chic style usually does it for us.
Leah Michelle Wears Cut Out Black Dress
The former Glee actress, 30, walked the pink carpet in a full-length black dress that had both a halter at the neck and spaghetti straps. The outfit featured numerous small cutouts that created a semi sheer effect at the bodice and down the length of the skirt revealing her undergarments as showing off her toned under arms. Lea wore her hair in a tight topknot and added some black and gold dangly earrings. The cutouts were only a feature on the front of the dress which had a zipper running down the back.

The Magic Mike star flashed her fantastic figure and underwear in the sheer black number at the star-studded event held at T-Mobile Arena.
Olivia’s gown was almost completely see-through as it featured a lacy detailing by the neckline and a floral detailing down the torso and skirt.
The racy garment also revealed her black underwear and matching strappy heels. She accessorized with diamond earrings, and a ruby ring by Le Vian.
Her raven-colored tresses were worn down flowing over her shoulders as she accentuated her porcelain skin with a swipe of shiny pink lip.

The 31-year-old actress opted for an intricate black top, which featured lace paneling at the sides.
The sexy cami featured thin black straps and structuring around the bust. It also featured keyhole detailing at the front, and a cut-out back. Ashley completed her look with a pair of wide-leg pleated pants, which draped onto the floor. The former High School Musical star also layered a series of gold necklaces and wore large gold hoop earrings. Her long highlighted blonde hair was parted in the middle and worn in loose waves. The stunning star opted for a smoky eye and nude lip, completing her bombshell look.
Emma Stone beared her skin
Emma sported an Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2017 dress, featuring an asymmetric strappy lace bodice and floral embroidered frill detail skirt.
We love the romantic aesthetic of the delicate embroidery of this dress combined with the fun flounces; meanwhile the fitted bodice and floaty skirt make for a super flattering fit. The flame haired beauty wore a sheer lace negligee teamed with a slashed dress, which fell off her left shoulder, revealing her undergarment.
Emma completed her look with a Tiffany diamond and chrysophrase earrings, a diamond bracelet and a diamond ring.
