A Lady Poses for Victoria Secrets Latest AD Shoot

Victoria’s Secret has been in the news for months now, owing to the changes they were making in their offerings. The reception has been mixed all through. But now, they have completely become controversy’s favourite child it seems. With their latest ad campaign they have led themselves to more trouble.

Victoria’s Secret latest ad campaign has been subjected to a lot of outrageous comments and women are quite disturbed at the thought behind the campaigns. The recent ads have actually portrayed models wearing lingerie as an outwear. To work, to public gatherings, social meets etc.

The backlash comes at a time when the advertising industry is plagued by concerns over sexism the world over. As part of the recent campaign for the “New (Un)Dress Code” collection, Angels Taylor Hill and former Maxim cover girl Elsa Hosk match the brand’s racy bralettes and lace bodysuits with trench coats and pencil skirts.

Many women have taken to the social media to comment and speak up. While some say, wearing lingerie like how Victoria’s Secret suggest will make them lose their job. Some are furious because of the ‘no link to reality’ concept behind the campaign and then some feel it is extremely demeaning. But unfortunately the brand has not yet responded to the outrage and their silence can be implied in a lot of way too.

But we can only assume that they will speak up with clarity and calm the outrage soon.
