The recently concluded 20th edition of the Bodywear Exhibition organised by Niksan InfoMedia Pvt. Ltd., was a grand success with the industry’s leading, as well as upcoming brands participating and displaying their products. Showcasing their brand power, the event offered a great platform for the fraternity to bond, exchange ideas and network. One of the biggest fairs in the lingerie industry, here are some pictures of the event that speak a thousand words.
Like true leaders, there display had the authority and the stamp of a brand leader.
Bodycare had displayed its two segments viz Men & women quite effectively, utilising the left and the right entry for each segment. There was ample moving space within the booth for easy navigation
Kalyani too was a surprise package, with a very corporate touch to their booth. The brand went notches up the ladder through this presentation. All there segments were represented quite succinctly without much ado, giving it a halo of confidence. They justified the presence of their sub brands Maashie & K lingerie through this presentation
The top socks brand in the country and a veteran of many shows across India had a very professional demeanor. The no nonsense approach to their booth with a very slick presentation was a treat to watch. Both their brands Vami and Bonjour stood highlighted through their presentation
A doyen among brands, and a legend at that, they were a surprise package to many, both the participants and visitors. I saw some even rub their eyes in disbelief. But what a presentation, slick, professional and very well segmentised. This represented just their women section, but one could see their summer range at display.
The rising star among the lingerie brands displayed both their ranges quite well, Pep up Ath leisure and Floret Lingerie. It got them the necessary eyeballs through a very catchy colour scheme and very neat display…
The wood grain paneling was a unique feature of their display, that stood out quite evidently. Sherry has a quite a strong brand presence in Ahmedabad and the entire Gujarat and their booth was literally thronged by buyers for two days without a letup… Kudos to their marketing team for such a superlative performance…
A brand that is watched quite closely by the entire lingerie industry. Here too they led by the sheer presence of a colossal. There booth was exemplary in terms of its designing, the detailing and its brand salience. On all counts we would rate them 10 on 10 no doubts about that. And the buyers and visitors too would agree with me on that…

They came, They saw, They conquered ! That’s US Polo for you Folks.
Again their approach was quite minimilistic, pithy and too the point. There display was not to frilly, but quite professional and had an understated appeal. A premium brand in the mens segment is making waves for all the right reasons…
Skin Value is one of the India’s premier night wear manufacturing company. Its presence cuts across the length and breadth of the Indian night wear market. The brand specialises in making value-priced items for most of their products portfolio. This keeps the brand’s profit margins razor thin while also never compromising in quality and style.
This was first ever show for Shap-on and from their performance it didn’t seem that way. They generated quite a lot of interest in buyers from Ahmedabad and Gujarat with their offerings.
Hemali is the flavour of the show, a local brand with a large brand following which showed in the crowds thronging their booth till the very end of the show. They had emphatically registered their presence among the stalwarts in no uncertain terms. A very good performance…!
Alisha too is rooted in Ahmedabad and Gujarat market. They range was quite electic and colourful, quite apt for the summer season. They have a value for money positioning which have many takers in the market. MBO’s thronged this booth and to get an eyeful of their offerings
This was the first showing for a brand like Tipsy, which registered its presence in Gujarat through this show. They have received several inquiries and the brand will be launching shortly in Gujarat. The display projected the brand as a mid range destination for the fashionably inclined women…!
Triumph is also focused its energies in building a great network of MBO’s apart from its presence in LFS. A brand that has been in the India for over 17 years has acquired a cult status in the premium lingerie segment.
Alishan was launched in 2015 by Mr Alam Chaudhary who started as a private label manufacturer for all the leading brands. Alishan Lingerie was founded with the vision to deliver lingerie which was economical. In a short span of three years Alishan has been able to establish itself among the stalwarts.
A leader in the Nighty Gown segment for the last decade and a half, displayed quite a range at this show, the buyers lapped up their summer range and were seen booking their orders till the wee hours of the show…
A brand par excellence in the mid segment range for panties, loungewear for Mens and women. They have a strong presence in Gujarat in MBO’s which was quite amply displayed here at this show with the ever increasing crowd at their booth throughout the show.
Their booth almost represented a shop counter and the buyers lined up to place their orders, very neat concept and very well executed. Kudos to their team pulling this off so well…
A product of the Sangam Group, and a first showing for the C9 making its debut with this show. A relatively new concept in India, C9 is gaining acceptance in the world of seamless innerwear. They are young, innovative, restless and rearing to go!!
A nightwear brand that has risen like a phoenix in the last five years and has taken the nightwear industry by a storm. They have a vast range to suit every customer palate. Creativity and quality are the hallmarks of this brand…
A VFM brand in the mass brand category displayed their expertise in basic and fashion in a wide range of products in their amour. Great finishing and good product quality are the attributes that has made Ballet a name for itself in this very competitive segment. Their display was in tune with their brand salience.
A quintessential nightwear brand that is making waves all over. It has created waves in Gujarat ever since it launched a couple of years ago. Here at Bodywear they turned a superlative performance with a wide variety of products on display.
AR Hosiery is a prominent manufacturer and wholesale exporter of bras, panties, fancy bras, sports bra, slips, etc. AR Hosiery, situated in Delhi, caters to all its customers with proficiency and ease. At Bodywear they had a very good showing this year. They will be facilitating their entry in to Gujarat through through this event.
Calibra added the local flavor to this event, one of the oldest brands to thrive in Ahmedabad. It is fast developing its market on a pan India basis. The visitors never had enough at their booth and it was so full of visitors throughout the day. Their booth too did justice to their brand, making it stand out among the much bigger players as well.
Omtex has emerged a key player in the shape wear and athleisure category. Here at Bodywear they continued their brand performance with a new collection for the forthcoming season which had their buyers quite excited…!
Established in the year 1995 by Mr Atul Jain, Posh Socks offers quality and customer satisfaction. The brand has uniform socks, casual, formal designer socks, as well as health socks along with stockings and leggings (from toes to waist). At Bodywear show they have returned after many years to put up a strong performance.
Raj Creations, named after late Shri Rajendra Malhotra is one of the brands in women’s panties and sports bras. Under Mr Amit Malhotra’s leadership and managerial skills, the company launched their own brand, ‘Your Secrets’ in the year 2009, which caters to the economy segment of women’s panties and sports bra. this year, they also moved from the business of wholesale to retail marketing and started their distributor channel pan India. In 2016, they started another brand B-You, which caters to the premium segment in sports bras.
Bitz from the house of Bannari Amman in Coimbatore is taking strides in making its brand presence in West. The brand has strong antecedents in the south. A very solid pedigree, It is a matter of time that they will emerge as a key player in Innerwears!

Mr Radhu Goyal established Redantic in the year 1994. The products offered are nightwear, nightsuits, loungewear,
t-shirts, kurti, track pants, and maternity wear. All the products are for ladies only. They cater to all age groups and a have a wide variety as well…they launch a new catalogue every month. The brand is available pan India, from Jammu to Kanyakumari, Imphal to Jamnagar.
K Santoki & Sons Marketing LLP, launched the brand Prag in 2016. The label offers innerwear, t-shirts, leggings, denim plus for women. In pursuit of excellence and empowering women in all sections of society, the company started this as a part of their socio-economic project. While doing this they realised that if they harness the ability of the Indian women they just might make a difference. Combining this vision with 15 years of rich experience in manufacturing and designing for top domestic and international brands, they launched their own homegrown women-led label.
