It is quite an honour for a business establishment to complete 50 years of its existence and we highlighted such companies recently in our 100th issue. Well recently Swati Lingerie Store situated in Thane too had the honours of completing 50 years of its existence. They celebrated this in style by calling the leading manufacturers of innerwear to a resort in Bardoli in Gujrat. Thirty brand attended this function and some of the leading luminaries of the innerwear trade were there to honour this legion of lingerie retailing. Now its third generation Mr BrajeshTanna is at the helm of affairs but it is still the octogenarian Mr.HashmukhTanna who calls the shots. Reminiscing the good of days when he started this shop with a single brand VIP without their support wouldn’t have even ventured in this field. Today this 240 sqft outlet is replete with all the leading brands like Sonari, Scan, Juliet, Trylo, Jockey, Lovable, Enamor etc. and they are still talking of giving more service to their customers in the years to come. Several manufacturers gave them certificates of brand endorsement having served so many years.
