With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, one lingerie brand has created a rather risqué underwear set that men and women can quite literally unwrap this February 14. The lingerie label has created the sexy ‘Body Bow’ Alyssa bra, which allows wearers to tie or untie as they choose.
The All Wrapped Up Body Bow – a giant satin ribbon in red, white or black which could be worn across a naked woman’s body like a ribbon on a present – surprised the fashion space last year. And to add to the sales Bluebella was certainly able to do fabulous business owing to the same stylish yet adventurous piece. Bluebella, is ready to repeat its success with a brand new lingerie piece, which can be unwrapped just like a Valentine’s present. The £38 underwired bra has two wide chiffon ties, which are fashioned into a bow across the bust, giving full or minimal coverage.
The ties can be playfully worked in a variety of ways. The matching brief features a softly tied fixed bow. Bluebella chief executive Emily Bendell mentioned, that they were a bowled over by the success of the All Wrapped Up Body Bow. They got in record sales from a lingerie piece that half the fashion world hated – and the other half thought was funny, cheeky and outrageous. In order to repeat the success they have introduced this bold new design which retains all the fun elements of the All Wrapped Up Body Bow but more closely resembles Bluebella’s modern design ethos.
Founded 12 years back, Bluebella has grown into a highly successful international brand and recently raised £1 million through the equity funding site Crowdcube to finance a big expansion into America.
